Marta Pérez Fernández es una artista visual especializada en fotografía y edición digital, nacida en Santander en el año 1994.

Orienta su trabajo hacia una fotografía de contenido conceptual, en la que muestra las diferentes realidades, emociones y etapas vitales del ser humano.

La mayor parte de su trabajo son autorretratos, lo que permite a la autora intervenir en todas las etapas creativas de cada obra y controlar milimétricamente su mensaje. Esta manera de posicionarse en la obra la enmarca en una corriente contemporánea internacional. 

En casi todos los trabajos, la autoafirmación, la identidad, la máscara, la construcción social de la mujer y la imagen como espejo, son temáticas comunes. Problemas como la ecología, la violencia, los incendios forestales... se entremezclan con un discurso íntimo y bello de su relación con el mundo y la humanidad que la rodea.

She bases her work on conceptual photography, in which she depicts the different realities, emotions, and life stages of humankind.

The self-portrait predominates in most of his work, allowing her to intervene in every creative stage and have control over the final message. This way of positioning herself in her work places her within an international contemporary movement.

In almost all of her works, self-affirmation, identity, the mask, the social construction of women, and the image as a mirror are common themes. Issues such as ecology, violence, and forest fires are intertwined with an intimate and beautiful discourse about her relationship with the world and the humanity that surrounds her.
